Светофор карликовый двузначный (ДЭТЗ)

Country of origin:

This is the first of two train traffic lights that have graced my room this year. Its acquisition history is short. I dreamed of having an old railway traffic light for a long time, but I drove those thoughts away. And once in summer I was sitting one evening on the prism of a dead end of an industrial station and drinking beer. And suddenly I realized that I needed to act. I got up, found the railway employee and agreed with him to buy out the old traffic light, allotted to be replaced with a new one. During the acquisition process, no one was hurt and everyone was happy.

This shunting traffic light was produced at the Dnepropetrovsk electrical engineering plant "Svetofor", I suppose that in the second half of the 70s (which can be indicated by the age of the transformers, as well as the more chopped shape of the cast-iron case), or in the early 80s.

The traffic light came to me with one faulty transformer, which I later replaced with the same one. Inside there are two ZhS-12-15+15 double-filament lamps, base type P42d/11 with horizontal installation in front of the lenses; and two linear transformers CT4 (from 220V to 12V AC), one from 1975, the other from 1976.

I also had three internal filter lenses LS-139: lunar white, red and blue. To please myself, I put a combination of prohibitory signals of blue and red that did not exist on the railway.
