I experimented with this starter on how quickly it ignites T8 and T12 tubes in PVLM and other luminaires. As it turned out, PVLMs are not reliable with T8 in any way, and the same starter in different luminaires worked well.

I don’t remember where I got it from, the body was slightly damaged. Such Saransk starters are especially rare in our country.

A full box of starters produced on August 21st, 1986, with the factory export label for 25 pieces, and the usual starters with a state price of 30 kop. From the stocks of KRZ, where all the Razno and Svetex ones were sent for "disposal" to PVLM luminaires. The box with the label and all 50 starters are one indivisible exhibit.

The starter was preserved in perfect condition, as it was installed in the PVLM luminaire under a twisted cap. The shine of aluminum is preserved, there are no scratches or signs of damage, looks like it was bought straight from the factory.

Quite common starters in Pripyat and Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Many starters in Pripyat made in 03-1977 are from PZGRL, at MSCh-126 they are Polish ones. Despite the radiation, they are all still working.

One of the oldest starters from my collection, which has definite year of manufacturing. It's in excellent condition. Starters from SPO "Svetotehnika" are rarely seen.

Going through a large batch of new starters, I noticed that this one was different in type, and now it's being published in the exposition as a separate exhibit for the first time.
