VTNa/C 250W (Tež Tesla (tt))

Hello to everyone. I got this rare bulb today. It is high pressure natrium (sodium) lamp made in Yugoslavia, in NOS shape. Arctube is clear, logo is still visible but the box state is rump, because it was sitting in garage. I got also 2 Philips (250W and 400W) lamps with boxes for 250W lamps. I am quite amazed to find it because these are rare nowadays and also many are EOL or rusted/with worn out logo. C means tubular, tubular bulbs were only clear.

Independent ballast for 250W Mercury Vapor lamps, classics for upgrading of all kinds of "hat luminaires" and part of SZPR-250 luminaire. These are ideal for dry conditions, but they can also work outdoors. The problem is that the cover screws rust, the seals crumble and water flows freely inside. We call all chokes of this type simply "gatchin".

The exhibit is in a "new" condition, never used.

On the picture you can see light bulbs that were rarely used in Serbia. The reason is the use of traditional fluorescent lamps and tungsten light sources in lighting. Most of these lamps were imported for newly built objects, but their time is running out because LEDs have replaced them.
